Finca Hartmann, located in Santa Clara, Renacimiento, is a pioneer of Panamanian specialty coffee, transitioning to high-quality production in the late 90s. A 3rd generation coffee family, they dedicate their lives to the coffee plant's cycle—from flowering to harvesting and processing—while maintaining harmony with the environment. The farm, situated at 1,300 to 2,000 meters above sea level, features multiple smaller lots and nearly 100 hectares of forest reserves bordering Parque Nacional de La Amistad. All coffee is shade-grown under native trees that enrich the soil naturally. For their Natural Process, hand-selected red cherries are sun-dried on African raised beds until reaching 11% humidity, ensuring exceptional quality and flavor. For the Hartmann family, coffee is not just a business; it’s their culture, passion, and way of life
