Meet the “El Placer” Farms Project, led by Sebastián Ramírez, a 4th generation coffee producer. With over fourteen years of experience, Sebastián started this project with his family's farm and has expanded to include small coffee producers in Quindio and Huila. Partner farms include El Placer, Andalucía, La Sofia, La Carito, and La Paz.
Located in the “Eje Cafetero” region, the project spans five farms in Quindio (Calarcá, Tebaida, Pueblo Tapado, and Montenegro) and one in Huila (San Adolfo), situated between 1200 to 2100 meters above sea level. Our state-of-the-art processing center, “El Placer Farms Hacienda Córcega Beneficio Center,” is based in Quimbaya.
We also run a Generational Relief initiative to inspire young people to become future coffee producers, ensuring the legacy of quality coffee production continues.
