This washed Yirgacheffe coffee is sourced by EDN Ethiopian Coffee from 550 family farms around the Halo Beriti station. After careful hand-picking, the station’s 115 employees wash the coffee, using a pulper to remove the skins and washing to eliminate mucilage, a process that takes 12-48 hours. The coffee then dries in thin layers on raised beds until reaching 11% moisture, preparing it for export and preserving its quality and flavor
