The "El Placer Farms" project was initiated by Sebastián Ramírez, a fourth-generation coffee producer. With over fourteen years of experience, Sebastián expanded from his family’s farm to include small coffee producers' farms in Quindío and Huila. Our associated farms are El Placer, Andalucía, La Sofía, La Carito, La Paz, and Hacienda Córcega.
El Placer Farms operates on six farms in the Coffee Axis: Calarcá, Tebaida, Pueblo Tapado, and Montenegro in Quindío, and San Adolfo in Huila. These farms are located at altitudes between 1200 and 2100 meters. Our state-of-the-art Processing Center, "El Placer Farms Hacienda Córcega Beneficio Center," is in Quimbaya.
